Academics In College

Academics in College 3.29.2003

A very wise cousin of mine once told me (way back in Jan 2002), "In College all you learn are questions. In Grad School, you learn... No. That's not right. In College, all you do is mess around. In Grad School, you learn the questions." To this I add, in college, you learn merely that you do not know the questions. In grad school, you probably learn not to bother trying to learn them.

On the bright side, I am not here to learn the answers to questions, just for the complimentary buzzer and free ticket to Jeopardy.

(Note from Sept, 2003 -- auugh. Being a data junkie isn't necessarily fun)
