Though I don't necessarily ascribe to Zen philosophy, here is an interesting Zen proverb about learning:
To follow the path: look to the master, follow the master. walk with the master, see through the master, become the master.
This pattern has often repeated in relationships with computer programming mentors. Will it happen in other areas?
